He mentioned that the 34th edition of the fair has over 1,400 exhibitors from 96 nations, with over 20 new countries participating.
In remarks to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Tunaiji described the programme as featuring children's activities, community-oriented programmes for all strata of society, especially the youth, and special events based on culinary culture. The ADIBF also features an advanced technology section, "Digital Square," highlighting the latest developments in the publishing sector.
He confirmed that the fair gives special attention to Emirati publishers by offering them a platform to present their experience and success in the publishing sector, as well as encouraging joint publishing and translation programs with Arab and foreign publishers.
He also stated that ADIBF offers considerable space for e-books and technology, giving visitors an insight into the new trends in publishing. The "Arts Corner" will feature innovative projects concerning book production, while the "Poetry Majlis" will have traditional and contemporary poetry, featuring local and Arab literary movements.
Al Tunaiji determined that the fair's rich and varied content is a testament to its increasing significance as a premier global cultural platform in the publishing sector.
